ABOUT ME

Ever since I can remember, I have always had an interest in art. While attending a high school fair I met a professor from one of the schools and told me about their graphic design program. I soon attended that very school and decided to pursue Graphic Design. I continued to study it throughout the course of my college career, taking courses that strengthened my Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign skills but also learning new things like basic HTML and CSS coding, Basic 2D Animation, Typography, Photography, and even the foundation of designs.  During my last semester, I was required to do an internship and I was accepted to work with the Greenwich Village Chelsea Chamber of Commerce as an intern and was tasked to create the 75th-anniversary badge. Soon I graduated and received a Bachelor of Science in Digital Multimedia Design and Special Award of Excellence. I graduated with an overall GPA of 3.827 and a GPA of 4.0 in the major.

After I graduated, I worked freelance making logos, illustrations (some used as tattoos), photo retouches, and more. Now I seek to work as a graphic designer for a company where I can use my skills and develop professionally.

Thank you for your time and consideration,

Gabriella Maya
